How to purchase carbon credits?
Anyone can purchase ALFA carbon credits to offset their greenhouse gas emissions.
The Australian National Registry of Emissions Units (ANREU) is a secure electronic system designed to track the location and ownership of Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs) issued under the Emissions Reduction Fund.
Upon sale, ALFA can transfer ACCUs to organisations or individuals with an ANREU account or alternatively, ALFA can voluntarily surrender ACCUs on their behalf. In this case, a note is made in the registry of the cancellation.

Customers
ALFA generates Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs)on an annual basis and these are provided to a variety of customers including:
- The Commonwealth under ERF carbon abatement contracts.
- The compliance market under the Safeguard mechanism.
- The voluntary market.
ALFA is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for Profits Commission.
